Traffic light problems cause queues on Truro's A390

Traffic light problems are causing queues this morning in Truro. Traffic lights outside the old Richard Lander School on the A390 have been continually flashing, which has caused tailbacks as far as Truro City football ground in one direction, and the park-and-ride in the other. The Highways Department said they have engineers on route to fix the problem. In the past problems with these lights have been because of something wedged into the pedestrian button at the base of the lights. This causes the lights to repeat 'pedestrian phase'.
