Fire broke out at Cornwall's biggest hospital just after midday today.
Three fire crews from Truro and Redruth rushed to the Royal Cornwall Hospital at 12.17pm.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said the flat roof fire was already out when they arrived.
The area was made safe and nobody was thought to have been injured.
