Truro City 0 Dover Athletic 3
CITY were unable to make it three Blue Square Bet South home wins in a row as the promotion-chasing visitors, who have now not lost on the road for a year flew home to Kent with the points.
The final scoreline though rather flattered Dover with bottom club City right in the game until the closing stages on a foul night at Treyew Road.
In the first period City were arguably the better side but went in 1-0 down at the break.
They conceded eight minutes before the interval when Ricky Modeste's cross from the left caused confusion in the home goal with Ben May deflecting the ball home despite the desperate efforts of Ben Williams to prevent the ball crossing the line.
Just before City had come close when Joe Broad's low drive was well saved by Dover keeper Mitch Walker.
After the interval Truro pushed forward creating several half chances without getting the run of the ball in front of goal.
And as they pushed forward they left gaps at the back and 15 minutes from time Billy Bricknell made it 2-0 with substitute Callum Willcock completing the scoring late on.
City are next in action at Boreham Wood on Saturday.
