The Cornish Pirates have announced the signing of versatile St Ives and Cornwall U20s full back and fly half Kyle Moyle.
A product of Penzance & Newlyn RFC's youth section, Moyle was the Cornwall U20s player of the year in 2011-12 and has been a star for them again this season.
Described by coach Tom Rawlings as "a wonderful talent", Moyle pulled the strings and scored 24 points in the team's recent 69-0 demolition of Somerset.
The young try-scoring machine, who has been playing for St Ives in the Tribute Cornwall & Devon league this season, has also previously played for the Pirates Amateurs and the Cornish All Blacks.
Commenting on the latest acquisition to their squad, Cornish Pirates head coach Ian Davies said: "Kyle has been training with us for the last three weeks and has impressed not only with his work ethic, but also his willingness to learn.
"He has obviously got natural talent and the aim now is for us to develop his conditioning and rugby know-how to a level where he can challenge for a shirt.
"Kyle is another local player who, in co-operation with their club, is being given the opportunity to experience professional rugby."
