A man is in a critical condition following a crash near Truro.
The 67-year-old from Perranporth was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth after the crash at St Erme.
The collision involved a red Ford Sierra and a BMW X5.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "The 67-year-old driver of the Sierra sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he is said to be in a critical condition."
The BMW was being driven by a 48-year-old man from the Suffolk area who sustained minor injuries.
The crash happened at the Rose Cottage junction just after 4.30pm on Friday.
