TRIBUTES have been paid to a Camborne mother who died following a crash outside the town's One Stop Shop just days before Christmas.
Stephanie Cook, aged 65, from Beacon, died from her injuries in hospital on Saturday, December 22.
Following her death, her family has paid tribute to the beloved wife of Pete and beloved mother to Sean, Kate and Neil. The family statement said: "The light of the world has gone out for them and for their partners as well as for her many friends."
Mrs Cook was in collision with a red Vauxhall Astra that was leaving the Dolcoath Avenue based car park on December 20 at 4.50pm.
She was trapped under the car and taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske in Truro in critical condition.
Enquiries are continuing and police are appealing for witnesses.
