OVER 500 visitors and villagers attended the crowning of the Revel Queen, Clare Trowbridge, by Old Father Time in the village square at Marhamchurch on Monday.
The Queen is chosen by the pupils of Marhamchurch Primary School.
The Gittisham Hall Jazz Band, following the Marshall of the Revel, Kyle Jerwood, provided the music for a procession around the village led by the Queen, riding side-saddle on a white pony.
She was accompanied by her Page, Jackson Marshall, and Flower Girl, Libby Goodall, together with her six maids and bough boys, and many children from the village who performed a traditional Cornish dance.
