North Yorkshire Police are appealing for help to locate a 32-year-old man, currently missing from the Reeth area of North Yorkshire, who has links to Devon and Cornwall.
Michael Witham has not been in contact with his family since 14 January 2013 and police are becoming concerned.
Officers believe Michael may be in the Devon or Cornwall area, having travelled from the north in his blue Nissan Navaro pick-up, and are appealing to anyone who believes they have seen Michael or knows of his current whereabouts to contact them.
Sergeant Stuart Grainger of Richmond Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "Michael left his temporary accommodation in Reeth on 14 January with the intention of visiting his family in the Essex area. However, he did not arrive and has not been in touch with them since. His family and the police are now concerned for his wellbeing and are appealing for assistance from the public to help locate him."
"If anyone believes they have seen Michael or spoken to him in the last few days, in particular guest house, hotel and campsite owners, we urge you to contact the police. Or better still, if Michael sees or hears this appeal, we urge you to get in touch with your family, friends or the police, and let us know that you are safe and well."
Michael is described as white, of slim build with short, brown, spiked hair, brown eyes, and has a number of tattoos on his forearms. He drives a blue Nissan Navaro pickup, registration number Y715UHN.
