Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service were called to Sinns Common at Redruth just past 3pm on Saturday afternoon to rescue a horse.
Units from Redruth, Camborne and Falmouth were sent to the incident and found a horse stuck on what they described as 'an unstable surface'.
The crew stabilised the horse and Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel successfully rescued the animal.
