Two fire crews called to Pendennis Rise in Falmouth found a reported kitchen fire was already out.
They were alerted just before 7pm last night, but discovered the fire was contained to the grill pan.
It had resulted in some smoke in some of the rooms, so they ventilated the property.
No one was injured.
