New Seahorse Display unveiled at the Falmouth Aquarium

The Falmouth Aquarium's aim to its visitors is to always have something new for our returning visitors to see; with new species to see, new tank displays, a gallery for artists to display their marine related work, and new international exhibits. We have just unveiled a brand new seahorse exhibit in a larger tank with several different unique species. Living with the seahorses are shrimpfish, a very interesting fish that swim in a vertical position and are florescent sliver colours.

The Falmouth Aquarium is a unique Cornish charity with local and international links. Rather than focusing on large marine mammals like other aquariums, the Falmouth Aquarium provides a more personal experience with coral reefs, small colourful and rare tropical fish and the chance to see tiny creatures that live under the sea that the public wouldn't normally be able to observe. Our exhibits are aimed at all levels and ages, from 2 years old to 18 and beyond. An exciting all-weather tourist attraction and educational facility, it is a place where the public start to understand and fall in love with the oceans providing the opportunity to watch and learn about sea-life.

"In a nut shell I would sum up Falmouth Aquarium as an absolute 'must' to visit when in Falmouth and somewhere to go if you want to get 'up close and personal' with marine life."
