A PENSIONER had to be cut free from her car in Newquay after it flipped while she was inside on Thursday night.
The 76-year-old woman was trapped in her red Peugeot 107 after it overturned on Edgcumbe Avenue, outside Trenance Leisure Park at around 7.30pm.
Firemen made the vehicle safe before cutting the woman free. She escaped serious injuries during the incident, and was treated at the scene before she went home.
Newquay police and three fire appliances attended the scene, as well as the South West Ambulance service.
All the emergency services had left by 9pm.
