Cornish Pirates head coach Ian Davies has rung the changes to his team for tomorrow night's re-arranged Championship game at Kingston Park against runaway leaders Newcastle Falcons (7pm).
After last weekend's disappointing home defeat to London Scottish the Pirates boss has refreshed his pack with six new faces including a brand new front row.
Darren Barry is the only survivor in the front five from the team which started the game on Sunday with Phil Burgess keeping his place at flanker.
In the backs Aaron Penberthy continues his comeback regaining the fly-half slot for the first time since late November and partners Tom Kessell at half-back.
Ben Mercer and Wes Davies keep their places but Ashley Smith makes his first start since joining the club last month, whilst Grant Pointer partners fit-again ex-Falcon Tom Bedford at centre.
Prop Paul Andrew has recovered from the ankle problem which forced him off the field a week ago and is named on the bench along with Owen Hambly who has been recalled from Redruth to cover at hooker.
Newcastle Falcons will name their team later today but have a major doubt over the fitness of hooker Rob Vickers who is nursing a calf injury.
Definitely out are Tane Tu`ipulotu, Carlo del Fava, Chris Pilgrim, Alex Tait and top try scorer Luke Fielden.
