Police are asking householders in the Wadebridge area to be vigilant following two burglaries which took place on the same day last week.
The crimes, which are linked by the way the offender broke into the homes, happened during office hours on Thursday 14 February 2013. A jemmy was used to force a window and a camera, laptop, cash and jewellery was stolen. One of the stolen rings is white gold and has three distinctive green Peridot stones.
The two properties attacked were in the Trevanion Road and West Park areas.
Anyone who has information regarding the crimes is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 quoting crime reference BW/13/98.
Any suspicious behaviour should be reported to the police via the 999 system at the time it is happening.
