A ST Austell man was injured following a two-car crash on the A390
The 29 year-old was driving a silver Ford Fiesta to St Austell when it was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Astra on the A390 at Grampound on Saturday at approximately 5.20pm.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta was airlifted to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
He escaped with a broken rib and was kept in hospital for observation over the weekend.
Two other people also sustained minor injuries.
Emergency services closed the road from the Hewas Water junction and a crash investigation was launched.
Police are appealing for information. Witnesses should call police on 101 quoting the log number 0519 220213.
