Disabled youngster Joshua Wilson, who has been supported by a group of dancing policemen from Falmouth, is currently enjoying a visit to the town to meet those involved in the fundraising.

Officers took part in a spoof video for pop song Gangnam Style to raise thousands of pounds for the 12-year-old from Bury in Lancashire who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2004.

After his treatment Joshua was left with severe neuromuscular disabilities that require a fully adapted home and his family needed to raise £25,000 to pay for specialist equipment.

Sergeant Gary Watts and the colleagues he persuaded to join him in a recreation of the music video by Korean rapper Psy, have spent the day with Joshua.

They first had a complimentary visit to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, where Joshua was able to sit on board the search and rescue helicopter, before enjoying a free lunch at The Shed on Discovery Quay and an afternoon at the lifeboat station.

The St Michael's Hotel are putting Joshua and his family up for two nights for free and FalCare have loaned their adapted vehicle to ferry them too and from Newquay airport and around the town.

His mum Dawn said: "We have been treated like royalty. It is overwhelming."

Mayor Geoffrey Evans also met with Joshua and presented him with a certificate and a large "key to Falmouth".
