A Cornish microbrewery is stepping up to the table with a collaboration with a top London gastro pub.
Owners and staff from The Bull and Last in Highgate – recently named as the 11th best gastro pub in Britain – are to visit Cornish Crown Brewery, at Badger's Cross, Penzance, to gain an insight into the brewing process.
Cornish Crown head brewer Josh Dunkley, who set up the business a little over a year ago, said: "The Bull and Last is taking caring about the beer they serve to a whole new level by helping brew a beer specially for their clientele.
"The resulting brew will be exclusively available at the Bull and Last and I'm looking forward to seeing the team roll up their sleeves, don the gum boots and get to work while gaining a unique insight into the beer's provenance."
The relationship is a major boost for the firm, which uses its own bore hole and brews just under 1,000 litres at a time.
