Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious injuries in a suspected hit-and-run in Truro.
The victim was discovered at the entrance to the Alverton Manor Hotel, which is on Tregolls Road, in the early hours of this morning.
Officers would like to hear from anybody with information about the incident or who knows of any vehicles with fresh damage.
The man's condition is not known.
A police spokesman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after a male was found with serious injuries at the entrance to the Alverton Manor Hotel in Truro in the early hours of Sunday 3rd March. "If anyone has any knowledge of how this male received these injuries, or knowledge of any vehicles which have sustained fresh damage to them please contact Devon & Cornwall Police on 101 quoting log no. 257 03/03/13 or ref GT/13/373."
