A power cut near Truro affected thousands of people at the weekend.
Western Power Distribution said 1,215 homes lost power at approximately 12.45am on Saturday.
An emergency team from Western Power went out immediately and managed to restore power to 1,168 homes within the hour. The remaining 48 homes were reconnected by 2pm on Saturday afternoon.
A spokesman for Western power said: "We still have to carry out repairs but there should be no further interruption.
"The priority for us is always to reconnect first and then get the repairs done."
The fault occurred in an 11,000 volt underground cable.
