One of Cornwall's most famous stately homes is holding a sale of its contents.
The auction of the contents of Trelissick House near Truro is expected to raise between £1m and £1.5m.
The sale, held by Bonhams auctioneers, will include an unrivalled collection of ceramics.
The sale also promises everything to be expected from an English stately home - from fine English and French furniture to Chinese porcelain, silver, wine, books, and paintings.
Trelissick House is the family home of the Copelands.
Roger Tappin, Bonhams regional director for Cornwall, said: "We are delighted to have secured the sale of the contents of Trelissick House, the repository of so many wonderful art works over the years.
"The house is synonymous with Cornwall and this sale will be a landmark event for 2013. The on-site auction gives everyone in Cornwall who has visited and loved Trelissick a chance to bid on a piece of Cornish history."
The sale will be held over two days on July 23-24 this year.
