A bomb scare took place in the centre of Truro this morning.
Police were called after a "threatening" notice was attached to a building in Charles street, Truro.
The notice was attached to a building shared by the Money Group and Working Links in Truro and police were called at 7.20am.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall police said: "Police were called to a commercial address in Charles Street, Truro.
"A notice of a threatening nature had been attached to the building and it was subsequently removed by police."
Ben Treleaven from the Money Group said: "There was a typed note stuck to the side of the building today suggesting there was an explosive device located in the building."
Mr Treleaven said the note was on the Working Links side of the building.
Police specialists searched the building but did not deem there to be a threat.
Police said an investigation would now be carried out to find out who had left the notice.
