A FARMER's wife from North Cornwall who sleepwalked seven miles before being found in a hedge is now home, safe and well. Joy Grigg, 50, a mother of two from Treneglos, between Launceston and Camelford, went missing after sleepwalking out of the window of her home in the early hours of last Wednesday. Her disappearance sparked a major police search operation after she was reported missing by her husband: but after almost 24 hours a member of the public found Joy in a hedge beside the A395 at Piper's Pool, near Launceston. Her husband Richard, 53, said that his wife had returned home from hospital at Plymouth on Friday night and was "remarkably well". Mr Grigg said she remembered some things about her missing hours but not others. It is the second time Joy has sleepwalked out of the family farm in Treneglos; in January she wandered five miles. Mr Grigg, who lives on Lower Kyrse Farm with Joy and their two sons, Martin, 27, and Geoff, 25, said: "It's so great that she has been found. We just want to get our lives back together."
