Developers have launched an appeal against a decision that went against them over hundreds of homes in Truro.
Persimmon Homes want to build 320 homes on land at Tolgarrick Farm at the junction of Arch Hill and Green Lane but their planning application was refused by Cornwall Council.
A public inquiry will now be held to hear the appeal on a date yet to be decided.
