Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service were called to a suspected arson fire near Launceston on Saturday evening.
A little past 9pm the service received a call about a gorse fire in the Laneast area outside of Launceston.
A fire appliance from Launceston was mobilised and sent to the incident.
On arrival crews used beaters to extinguish the fire.
Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was suspected to be arson.
