Tonnes of raw pork that fell off the back of a lorry has delayed motorists leaving Truro today.
The meat was spread across Newquay Road near the junction leading to the New Cattle Market.
Clean-up crews used shovels to clear the meat while police diverted traffic around the mess.
The West Briton photographer, Jonathan Jacobs, was on the scene. He said: "The traffic was backed up leaving Truro. It seems as if the lorry misjudged the tight corner and the meat slid out of the back. It smells pretty bad."
