The big day finally arrived on Fowey's, Webb Street, as celebration and music marked the arrival of two new shops in the vibrant town centre.
Lazy Jacks and the The Webb Street Company have been gradually taking shape over the past few months and on Friday, March 29, the high street neighbours shared a grand opening event for all the town to enjoy.
Live music filled the air and ice cream filled the bellies as the two new kids on the block put on an enjoyable and well-received afternoon for visitors.
Oli Davies and Ben Bailey, owners of The Webb Street Company, had everyone in suspense as the shop came together, with a large creative team from Millard & Flo, Hooper & Shaw, Landmark Kitchens, Mark Products and Coast 2 Coast, working out of sight behind papered up windows bringing the pair's vision to life.
They were delighted with how the launch day went.
"The event went amazingly well," said Oli, "and there was a great turn out from locals and tourists. The feedback has been really positive and we couldn't be happier with the transformation."
Michael Redmond, owner of Lazy Jacks, was equally pleased.
"It was a great day, we would like to thank everyone who took the time to come down and see us and it was great to meet so many new people," he said.
" We are now looking forward to a long hot summer."
