The full list of people nominated for the forthcoming Cornwall Council elections on May 2 is revealed tonight.
Almost 500 people have put their names forward for the 122 seats on the unitary authority, with 265 standing in the west and 216 in the east of the county.
Council leader Jim Currie is the only member of the current cabinet not standing, but his predecessor, Alec Robertson, is hoping to be re-elected in Helston North.
Also standing again is Colin Brewer, the former independent councillor for Wadebridge East, who was forced to stand down earlier this year over his comments about disabled children.
Candidates have until 12noon on April 10 to withdraw their nominations.
