A man had to be cut free from his BMW after it collided with a Mitsubishi in Truro last night.
Emergency services were scrambled to the accident on the city's Newquay Road by the traffic lights at around 8.49pm.
Two pumping appliances from Truro and the rescue tender from Camborne attended and used crash rescue equipment to free the man, who was trapped inside his BMW 320.
He suffered minor injuries but was taken by ambulance to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, to be checked over by doctors.
Police also attended the scene.
