TAKE THAT star and XFactor judge Gary Barlow arrived in Land's End last night with Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans and Top Gear presenter James May for the start of their pink charity rally.
The team, along with Professor Brian Cox, are driving from Land's End to John O'Groats in a pink Rolls Royce and hoping to raise £1 million for Breast Cancer Care.
Crowds of fans were gathered at Land's End this morning for the start of the rally, which will see the team complete the challenge in under 24 hours in the car, which has the licence plate 'FAB1' — the same as Lady Penelope's of Thunderbirds.
Evans, who dreamed up the idea, said: "FAB1 Million aims to raise a million pounds for breast cancer — it's as simple as that.
"You can hire the most famous Rolls-Royce in the world as the icing on the cake to whatever special event you are attending or celebrating, knowing that you are donating to a very worthy cause in the process.
"It's a win-win situation."
Evans will be sharing his driving responsibilities with his three famous co-drivers, stopping at Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow along the way to increase awareness of the initiative.
The team hopes to arrive at the tip of Scotland at around 4.15am.
We will be live blogging this morning from Land's End. Follow all the action with Cornishman reporter Josh Barrie (@joshbythesea) live as it happens here and tweet us using #landsend.
