POLICE in Camborne would like to hear from the "good Samaritan" who found an envelope with a large sum of money in it, and handed it back to the force.
The unmarked envelope, which contained more than £880, was found at Pool Market on Sunday, April 14.
It was handed to the police yesterday afternoon and returned to the owner this morning.
PC Geoff Streatfield from Camborne police station, said: "We were able to track the owner down because of a receipt in the package.
"But this individual has shown true integrity and the Camborne neighbourhood team is keen to locate this good Samaritan in order to thank them for their actions."
PC Streatfield can be contacted by calling 101 and asking a message to be passed to PC6910 Geoff Streatfield so the loser can pass on their appreciation in person.
