A man had to be rescued after becoming trapped on children's play equipment in Redruth on Saturday. Firefighters, who were called to assist the 25-year-old at 4am, said he was trapped on top of the equipment 10ft off the ground. Firefighter Rob Hosking from Redruth fire station, said: "He did not know where he was and he was also scared of heights." Two firefighters scaled the climbing frame and following negotiations, the 25-year-old agreed to be helped down using a nearby slide.
