Celebrity chefs including Nathan Outlaw and Antony Worrall Thompson were in Cornwall today for the launch of a new body.
They were among 50 top chefs at Cornwall College Camborne promoting the Chefs' Forum.
It has been set up to bridge the gap between education and industry, and aspiring young professionals and front-of-house professionals.
The aim of the forum is to share industry knowledge and best practice in catering colleges and professional colleges throughout the south west, working with the top chefs in Bristol, Devon and Dorset.
Forum founder Catherine Farinha outlined the forum plans and explained how it works in other parts of the south west.
Cornwall College' students ran the front of house, serving Champagne Taittinger and canapes to guests.
All Chefs' Forum member chefs hold accreditations, including Michelin Stars, AA Rosettes and Good Food Guide cooking scores.
