Camborne fire fighters responded to two separate fires at derelict buildings yesterday evening within ten minutes of each other.
At 8pm fire fighters were called to a derelict Go-Kart centre off Pendarves Street, Tuckingmill, after smoke was seen coming from the building.
Upon their arrival they found tyres and rubbish set alight and used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Approximately ten minutes later crews were called to Roskear Road to extinguish a second fire, also involving tyres and rubbish, at another derelict building.
