PLATE SPINNING and juggling – not something you'd normally find on the national curriculum.
But at Wadebridge Primary Academy the children got busy with circus skills, when company Splats Entertainment visited the school recently.
A school spokesperson said: "They trained and entertained pupils to help build confidence, develop relationships, work together in teams, getting more active and hopefully help Year 6 pupils de-stress a little prior to their Sats.
"At the end of each day parents were invited to join their children and 'have a go' at the circus skills the children had learnt throughout the day. It was great to see everyone getting involved. Whether spinning plates or juggling scarves the children enjoyed working together and supporting each other in what was a very enjoyable topic."
