FLORA Day started with the morning dance at 7am celebrating the end of winter and coming of spring.
This year Graham Webber and Claire O'Haire, along with Sam Autie and Gillian Hammond had the honour of leading the first of a series of dances that are performed throughout the day.
Helston Flora Day is a centuries-old tradition that has seen generations of Helstonians file through the town to banish winter and welcome in spring.
