Two kayakers had to be rescued from St Austell Bay this afternoon.
The men were about half a mile off shore when they became too cold to get back in.
They called 999 on a mobile phone and the Fowey Lifeboat was launched to pick them up at about 3.30pm.
Watch assistant from Brixham Coastgaurd, Alistair Thomson said they were both checked over by the paramedics and were fine.
He said: "The wind had picked up and it was hard work and they were not as fit as they thought they were."
