THERE has been a traffic accident on the A3075 southbound at Newquay between the A392 Trevemper Road junction and the B3285 Halt Road junction at Goonhavern. Two fire engines from Newquay and the rescue team from Bodmin were called to the scene. Firefighters used rescue equipment to release a person trapped by 8am and the casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service.
