A man was airlifted to hospital following a climbing incident on a cliff in St Levan this afternoon.
At around 1.30pm a crew from Lands End Coastguard and a navy helicopter from Culdrose attended the incident at Porthgwarra.
A representative from the Coastguard service said: "The gentleman was on the cliff and had suffered an ankle injury.
"He was airlifted to Treliske hospital."
It is not known how serious his injuries are at this time.
