A 17 tonne lorry has been stuck in a narrow St Ives street since lunchtime.
Police received a call about the incident at 11.40am this morning to say that the black Iveco HGV was jammed on Steeple Lane near to Knill's Steeple.
A spokeswoman for the police said that two officers were on scene and that the lorry was believed to still be there.
She added that it appeared that a pedestrian had been injured by the lorry although not seriously.
A passerby said: "He has managed to get up a single track road and get himself well and truly stuck."
