A Miss England contestant from Tregony will put on a charity auction to raise cash for a good cause.
Rosalie Douglass is a finalist in this year's Miss England beauty competition.
The 17-year-old, who studies at Truro College, will put on a dinner evening and charity auction at the King's Arms pub in Tregony on Saturday May 25.
The event will support the charity Beauty With a Purpose, which is set up to help disadvantaged children all over the world.
Miss Douglass said: "There's a whole range of prizes on offer, from kayaking trips to dinner for two and gift packs worth around £60.
"Tickets for the dinner are nearly sold out, but people are invited to join me at the auction and a dance from 8.30pm in the King's Arms.
"It is a wonderful charity that does amazing work globally."
Miss Douglass will travel to the Torquay Riviera International Centre on June 13 to compete in the Miss England competition.
She was crowned Miss Cornwall in April, which qualified her to take part in the coveted beauty event.
The winner of Miss England will scoop a prize package worth more than £25,000 including a place in the Miss World final in September.
But should her career in modelling fall short, Miss Douglass will study law at either Exeter or Cardiff University.
