Priory Road has now been reopened by police following a collision earlier today.
A female pedestrian was taken to hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries, a police spokesman said.
The elderly female driver of one of the vehicles had to be airlifter to hospital after being cut from her car by firefighters.
The spokesman said there was some concern about her injuries but she was now believed to be in a stable condition.
Two people have been taken to hospital after a car crash in Bodmin.
Priory Road is closed while police deal with the incident, which happened at midday.
The collision, between a Ford Fiesta and a Porsche four-wheel drive, also involved a pedestrian.
Five firefighters in a fire engine and six in a rescue tender from Bodmin were called to the scene.
Crews used crash rescue equipment and hydraulic pressure lifting equipment to free one casualty trapped in a car, who was then taken to hospital by Air Ambulance.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital via land ambulance.
A spokesman for the police said they were awaiting updates on how serious the injuries were.
