The public will have another opportunity to have their say on proposals for dualling a section of the A30 at Temple from tomorrow.
A two day exhibition at Blisland Village Hall on Thursday and Friday will highlight minor changes which have been made to the scheme as a result of feedback from an earlier public exhibition held in January.
Visitors to the exhibition will also be able to watch an updated 'fly through' video of the updated design and learn more about the construction phases, the impact on Public Rights of Way and landscaping.
Those unable to attend the exhibition will still be able to give their views on the revised proposals by taking part in the consultation process until June 19.
"More than 400 people visited the exhibition in January and views on our proposals were very positive," said Tim Wood, Cornwall Council's assistant head of transportation.
"We have used the feedback from the exhibition and other written comments to modify aspects of the design including slip roads, passing places on side roads, fences and hedges and identification of replacement common land."
Cornwall Council was given the green light to proceed with proposals to dual the three mile stretch of the A30 between Temple and Higher Carblake after the Government confirmed it would put £30m into the scheme.
The council will match this funding, as well as finance all the preparatory costs of delivering the scheme on behalf of the Highways Agency. The innovative scheme has been designed by CORMAC Solutions Ltd, the Council's highways service provider.
Plans will be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate in August 2013 and it is hoped construction will begin in January 2015.
The exhibition at Blisland Village Hall will be held between 10.30am and 8pm on Thursday and between 8am and 8pm on Friday.
Those unable to attend the exhibition you can still take part in the consultation.
