Representatives of the Cornwall County Amateur squad travelled to Warrington in Cheshire for a return fixture from the County Show held in Newquay in February.
The young boxers were selected and matched as the best in the county by team manager and matchmaker Richie Bates.
In the weeks building up to this competition the individual club coaches gave them expert training at their respective club gyms.
They were then put forward for selection to the county squad and put through their paces by county coach Ian J. Tennant, who selected them based on their hard work and dedication to training.
He said: "These young people are a credit to their clubs, schools and families and they work incredibly hard to achieve the status of being county boxers.
"This sort of dedication should serve as an inspiration to many other young people."
County chairman Dennis Dent who also travelled with the squad as an official said: "This was a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding weekend with everyone involved pulling together as a team.
"Thanks goes to county team coaches Ian J.Tennant, Richie Bates, Carl Thomas and Dennis Crosby who all travelled with the squad."
