REDRUTH'S Darren Jacques has been called up to the England Counties' squad for next month's tour to Belgium.
The full squad will be confirmed by the Rugby Football Union after this Sunday's County Championship final between Cornwall and Lancashire at Twickenham, though it has been confirmed by the Reds that the 32-year-old prop will be involved with the Counties.
Jacques was part of the Cornish side that beat Hertfordshire at Camborne on Saturday to earn their place in the final.
During their week-long tour, the England Counties side will play a Belgium President's XV on Wednesday, June 12, and the Belgium national team on Sunday, June 16, and will carry out coaching sessions and community initiatives.
