The Truro branch of a national epilepsy charity will put on an event to help "bust myths" about the condition.
Epilepsy Action (Truro Branch) will host an awareness morning on Friday 24 of May, 9am to 12pm in the Out Patient Reception at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital.
The focus will be on 'busting myths' to ensure people have access to the correct information and understand what support is available to help get rid of the stigma attached to epilepsy.
People affected by the condition or those wishing to know more are invited to drop in to find out more about seizures, diagnosis and other useful information. There will also be cakes on sale to help raise funds to support Epilepsy Action in the local community.
Epilepsy Action aims to improve the lives of those with the condition by funding research and raising awareness.
