THE LATEST arson attack on a derelict indoor go-kart track near Camborne has prompted a multi-agency initiative to investigate the blaze.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service together with Safer Camborne scheme, set up to improve community safety and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the town, are meeting at the site in Tuckingmill next week to discuss the recent suspicious fires at the building.
On Tuesday night eleven firefighters were called to the warehouse to deal with two small rubbish fires.
Later that night crews from Camborne and Redruth were called to West Tolgus in Illogan to put out two cars and a caravan set on fire by vandals.
Earlier this month firefighters from Camborne were called to Pendarvis Street to deal with a derelict building believed to have been set on fire by arsonists.
