A holidaymaker has died in Cornwall after being hit by a car while crossing a road near Penzance.
The 72-year-old man collided with a silver VW Golf on the A394 on Friday.
An investigation has been launched by the serious collision investigation unit and the man's next of kin are being traced.
The Marazion to Rosudgeon road was closed from 4.30pm until 10pm.
A police spokesman said formal identification of the man will not take place until Tuesday at the earliest.
