THREE cars have crashed and are currently blocking a road between the crossroads at the junction of Dracaena Avenue and Trescobeas Road in Falmouth.
Traffic is currently queuing and diversions are in place.
The accident happened at 5.40pm. A police spokesman said the road will be closed for some time to protect any persons possibly trapped in the vehicles.
Earlier today two cars collided at Kestle Mill near Newquay (A3058).
That accident has been resolved and the road has re-opened.
