Jane Khan, from St Ives, took a podium position at the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday.
Khan, who now lives in Dubai, finished second lady behind Kenyan athlete Risper Kimaiyo. Khan finished the 26.6 mile race in a personal best time of 2.43.
Khan spent her early years training with Cornwall AC and later Hayle Runners. She will be back training in Cornwall for the summer.
There was a fantastic Cornish presence in the Edinburgh Marathon, with some great times by Hayle Runners.
