Man and boy airlifted to hospital following A30 Bodmin crash

A 26-year-old man and a 7-year-old boy have been air lifted to hospital following a single vehicle collision on the A30 near Bodmin. The incident happened at around 10am this morning when a people carrier with seven passengers crashed on the stretch of road between Bolventor and Bodmin Two air ambulances were scrambled to the scene to transport the man and boy to hospital. The remaining five passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to Derriford Hospital by road ambulance. A representative from Devon and Cornwall Police said the injuries suffered are not thought to be life threatening. The road is now fully open.
